We went strawberry picking
We went to a strawberry farm to pick strawberry. It's not the cheapest or easiest option to have strawberries. But it is fun and the strawberries taste much better. Strawberries that we picked have different shapes and a variety of ripe levels. But they all smell and taste much better than those beautiful and identical looking strawberries off the shelf from the same farm.
The weather was a bit dull, foggy and chilly. It was not unusual for Melbourne spring. Rains have made footpath between strawberry patches very muddy. We end up cold and dirty after our picking. But it was good doing it together, our family.
I learnt that some sparkling moments are good enough. I don't need an excellent day out with every factor scored 5 out 5 to feel that it's worth it. It's a foggy day, I had a hard time walking in the muddy path. My daughter got bored after around 10-12 strawberries. But we had some fun together.
